Ms Hazra Ahmed

Our Principal Ms Hazra Ahmed, completed her primary education in New Zealand and then moved to Australia where she completed her tertiary education. In 1996, Hazra graduated from Griffith University with a Law Degree and two Arts Degrees. Hazra has over 20 years’ legal experience.

After graduating with a Law Degree and two Arts Degrees, Hazra was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1999. Hazra completed her Articles (Graduate Training) through a busy suburban general practice law firm and gained experience in a range of areas including, family law, personal injury, wills and estates, probate, conveyancing, commercial law.

Hazra has a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors and her experiences have been gained from working in small suburban law practices, to middle tier, large private firms and corporate organisations.

Ms Ahmed is committed and prides herself on excellence in client service. The lawyers at Kanoon Law group take the time needed to fully understand our clients’ legal position and to provide both clear, understandable advice and strong representation for all legal matters.

Ms Kylie Drage

Solicitor

Ms Kylie Drage (Kylie) has practiced in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law, Domestic Violence, Child Safety Matters, Wills and Enduring Power of Attorneys since her admission in 2010.

Kylie has extensive experience in children’s and financial matters and has represented clients at Case Assessment Conferences, Conciliation Conferences, Interim Hearings, private mediations and settlement negotiations as well as various Court Applications before judicial officers.

Kylie has also gained significant experience in Criminal Law matters and is currently on the Duty Lawyer list at the Holland Park Magistrates Court for Domestic Violence matters, advising Respondents.

Kylie has a particular interest in children’s matters with a view to assisting clients to find innovative solutions that promote the best interests of the child.

Kylie loves outdoor activities  and is a proud mother of two young children.

Ms Karlie McKlaren

Administration Officer

Our Administration Officer Miss Karlie McKlaren, holds a Certificate III in Business and is currently completing Diploma in Legal Services from which she will graduate later this year.

Karlie is dedicated to expanding and enhancing her legal skills and knowledge in order to be equipped to provide the best possible service to our clients.
